    0. Lyrics to song

Chet Atkins Gretsch on Slash fuzz bass
1982 Ibanez Musician MC150FR with 1983 Di Marzio DP 100 FW humbucker pick-ups on Vox phaser
    Takamine acoustic with Vox reverb
Meinl tambourine, LP shaker and guiro, Volt Voggenreiter shaker, Nux looper+drums.

    1):
    We all think we're individual,
as a matter of fact it's quite residual.

    Collective agency,
as if together we could be free.
Riding high on a wave of success,
know very well that the world's a mess.
    We are all believing still,
we could change the world with an act of will.

    2):
Don't try to look any deeper,
you'll only offend the consensus keepers.

    Don't indulge in speculation,
    rein in your imagination.
    Don't leave the evidence base,
if you don't want to lose your case.
Is there any place left to go,
if you can't swallow (stomach) the status quo?

    3):
The will to will has led us astray,
long ago we lost our way.
Stepping back to loosen its grip,
perhaps then we can give it the slip.
    Clinging on to our individuality,
as if without it we could not be free.
We have overlooked the gift that has been granted,

From which we can never be supplanted.

    4):
The will to will has practised its ereption,
left us in a state of wilful self-deception.
We have to relearn to theorize,
to see what is lying right before our eyes.
Stepping back to re-enter the domain,
    rediscovering from where we came.
    Remoulding who we are become,
instead of persisting to beat that fateful drum.

    Outro):
    Mind change, mind change,...
